In June 2026, Kimia and Ethan celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Château de Lésigny, just outside Paris, a day designed entirely around the château gardens, thoughtful details and the coming together of their families and cultures.
The wedding was planned by Manuela of M Team Event, with whom we regularly work hand in hand. For Kimia and Ethan's celebration, I had the pleasure of working alongside Manuela throughout several key stages of the planning process, from the catering tasting and venue visit to assisting her with the coordination of the wedding day itself.
There is something particularly special about joining a project before the wedding day and then seeing every decision, detail and conversation finally come together.
The day was beautifully documented by J'ne sais quoi Studio, whose team captured the celebration from beginning to end with an incredibly complete reportage. From the smallest details to the energy of the day, their work tells the full story of Kimia and Ethan’s wedding, with the level of quality and attention to detail they are known for.
A Morning at Château de Lésigny
The day began inside the château with the bridal preparations.
While Kimia and her bridal party were getting ready, Manuela had arranged breakfast for the morning and our coordination team was already moving between the different spaces of the property.
As with every wedding morning, there was a lot happening quietly behind the scenes: welcoming suppliers, overseeing installations, answering last-minute questions, checking timings and making the final adjustments before guests arrived.
While the château slowly transformed outside, the morning inside remained calm, intimate and full of anticipation.
A Ceremony Bringing Two Cultures Together
For their outdoor ceremony, Kimia and Ethan wanted to incorporate an important part of their family heritage through a Sofreh Aghd, the traditional Persian wedding ceremony spread.
It created a beautiful focal point for the ceremony and, beyond its visual impact, brought an additional layer of meaning to the celebration, allowing the couple to honour their culture and family traditions while making the ceremony entirely their own.
Surrounded by the greenery of Château de Lésigny and their closest family and friends, they exchanged their vows before the celebrations moved naturally into the gardens for the cocktail hour.
A Chic Garden Party in the French Countryside
From the beginning, the vision shared by Manuela and the couple was very clear: whenever possible, the wedding would take place entirely outdoors.
The grounds of Château de Lésigny became an integral part of the experience rather than simply the backdrop.
While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on one side of the château, the final details of the dinner were being perfected on the other. Tables were set beneath the open sky, surrounded by the natural greenery of the estate.
The design followed a chic garden-party direction, created to feel completely at home within its surroundings. Every element was considered as part of the wider atmosphere rather than as decoration alone.
The result was elegant without feeling overly formal: a summer dinner in the gardens of a French château, where the setting, styling and energy of the guests all worked together.
Dinner Under the Open Sky
As guests discovered the dinner setting, the atmosphere shifted into one of those summer evenings that seem to unfold effortlessly.
Long conversations around the tables, speeches, laughter and celebrations continued as daylight slowly disappeared over the château.
It was exactly the kind of setting the couple had imagined: convivial and elegant, with the architecture of Château de Lésigny on one side and the gardens surrounding the celebration on the other.
Behind the scenes, our teams continued working together to make each transition feel seamless — from ceremony to cocktail hour, from dinner to the evening celebrations.
Working Hand in Hand
This wedding was also a lovely reminder of how collaborative our industry can be.
Working alongside Manuela and M Team Event throughout the planning stages and on the wedding day allowed us to combine our teams and experience around one shared objective: giving Kimia and Ethan the freedom to simply experience their wedding while everything else happened quietly around them.
From our first visits and tastings together to the final moments of the celebration, it was a privilege to contribute to a day that felt so personal to them.
A June wedding at Château de Lésigny, a celebration of two families and cultures, and a garden filled with people they love — one of those beautiful summer days we were very lucky to be part of.
